Chery Thailand Extends Support with 1 million Baht Donation to Aid Southern Flood Victims via the Thai Red Cross Society

CHERY Group, led by Chery Thailand and OMODA & JAECOO, has extended care and encouragement to communities in Southern Thailand through a donation of 1 million baht. The contribution aims to support relief and recovery efforts for those affected by severe flooding, particularly in Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province, which has experienced one of the most significant flood events in recent years.

Mr. Cedric Chui, President of OMODA & JAECOO (Thailand) Co., Ltd., together with Mr. Jim Li, Country Director of CHERY Thailand, Mr. Bill Zhang, Country Director of OMODA & JAECOO Thailand, and Ms. Warangkana Sasithorn, Executive Director of OMODA & JAECOO (Thailand) Co., Ltd., jointly presented the 1 million baht donation to Mr. Sakda Wichiansilp, Deputy Minister of Interior; Ms. Supamas Isarabhakdi, Minister Attached to the Prime Minister’s Office; and Mr. Siripong Angkasakulkiat, Government Spokesperson. The handover took place at Phakdibodin Building, Government House, with the funds designated for the Thai Red Cross Society to support flood relief and rehabilitation efforts.

In addition to the donation through the Thai Red Cross Society, Chery Thailand has also prepared assistance measures for its dealer staff in Songkhla Province who have been affected by the flooding, aiming to help them recover and resume operations as quickly as possible.
