Chery Automobile, a global automotive manufacturer from China, unveiled its future mobility innovations and next-generation driving technologies at Auto China 2026 – the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, the largest automotive exhibition in China this year, held at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing. The company also introduced three new flagship models - TIGGO V, V27 and Chery Q - reinforcing its commitment to global expansion and advanced mobility solutions.

During the exhibition, Chery Automobile announced its ongoing global business expansion strategy. The company aims to expand operations into 40 additional countries while establishing 8 global R&D centers and more than 30 manufacturing facilities worldwide. Chery also plans to strengthen its global distribution network by increasing dealerships to over 2,000 locations and expanding service centers to more than 1,800 worldwide. At the same time, the company targets delivery vehicles to 10 million families globally by 2030.
Jeff Zhang, CEO of CHERY Brand International, stated “Every innovation from CHERY is inspired by our commitment to creating vehicles ‘For Family.’ This philosophy has always been at the heart of the brand, reflecting our promise to deliver safe, high-quality mobility solutions for families worldwide. We remain committed to expanding globally while focusing on growth in each market through stronger manufacturing, distribution, and service networks to enhance customer experience and drive CHERY’s international growth. In June 2025, CHERY achieved a major milestone by surpassing 5 million vehicle exports, becoming the first Chinese automotive brand to reach this achievement.”
At the event, Chery presented next-generation automotive technologies designed to create new mobility experiences for visitors. One of the key highlights was the launch of the TIGGO V, developed under the concept of a “Transformable SUV,” designed to support a wide range of lifestyles, from daily commuting to outdoor adventures. Equipped with CSH (Chery Super Hybrid) technology, the vehicle combines performance and fuel efficiency while reflecting CHERY’s family-oriented philosophy through three core values:

Versatility – Combining the rugged capability of an SUV, the comfort of an MPV, and the flexibility of a camper or pickup truck.
Value – Supporting every aspect of family use with enhanced convenience and practicality.
Victory – Symbolizing a trusted companion that supports families in achieving their life goals.
The TIGGO V offers three driving and lifestyle modes tailored to different family needs:
SUV Mode – Tiger-inspired Design with Advanced Safety
The TIGGO V features a bold “Tiger-inspired” design with a V-shape grille and tiger-claw LED headlights. The body structure consists of 76% high-strength steel and aluminum, complemented by intelligent driver assistance systems (ADAS), including Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), and Automatic Parking Assist.
MPV Mode – Spacious and Comfortable Three-row Cabin
Designed for family comfort, the TIGGO V accommodates seven passengers across three rows with a spacious cabin layout. The seats can be adjusted and folded into Bed Mode, while the vehicle also includes 42 storage compartments and a three-zone air conditioning system equipped with an N95 air filtration system for enhanced comfort and wellness.
PUP Mode – Flexible Utility and Lifestyle Capability
The vehicle can be transformed into a cargo-focused configuration through its removable rear structure, increasing storage capacity for commercial use or outdoor activities such as camping. Additional accessories such as rooftop tents, in-car refrigerators, and cargo equipment can also be installed.
In addition to its versatile usability, the TIGGO V is powered by CHERY’s latest hybrid powertrain technology, delivering strong performance with impressive fuel efficiency. The PHEV version achieves fuel consumption of just 6 liters/100 km, while the gasoline-powered version delivers 7.84 liters/100 km. The vehicle also features an off-road-capable suspension system, 220 mm ground clearance, water-wading capability up to 700 mm, and the ability to climb slopes up to 30 degrees, making it suitable for both urban and rugged terrains.
Another major debut at the exhibition was the right-hand-drive V27, a boxy-style off-road electric SUV developed under the “New Energy Off-road SUV” concept. Combining classic rugged styling with modern innovation, the model is designed to meet growing demand in Southeast Asia and Oceania markets.
The V27 is equipped with REEV (Range-Extender Electric Vehicle) technology and is available in both two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive configurations. Measuring 5,055 mm in length with a 2,910 mm wheelbase, the V27 provides a spacious and comfortable cabin for long-distance travel. It also features 220 mm ground clearance and water-wading capability up to 600 mm, ensuring capability across both city and off-road environments.
In terms of performance, the V27 delivers a total driving range of over 1,200 km (CLTC standard) and up to 200 km in pure EV mode. The vehicle also features NVH Optimization technology to reduce noise and vibration, enhancing cabin quietness and ride comfort.
With comprehensive features and safety standards developed in accordance with CNCAP and ENCAP requirements in both Europe and China, the V27 represents a global flagship model that reflects CHERY’s vision for future new-energy mobility solutions.

Meanwhile, the Chery Q stood out as another key highlight of the exhibition as an electric vehicle positioned as “the most complete and value-for-money model in its segment.” Featuring a modern compact design with comprehensive convenience and safety technologies, Chery Q is designed to suit the lifestyles of younger consumers.
Jim Li, Country Director of CHERY Thailand, commented “Participating in Auto China 2026 provides an important opportunity for CHERY to showcase its latest technologies and new-generation vehicles to global consumers while reflecting the brand’s strength and growth in Thailand and internationally. We remain committed to continuously developing automotive technologies and innovations to deliver driving experiences that meet the evolving demands of modern consumers in terms of performance, safety, and lifestyle.”
CHERY’s participation at Auto China 2026 reflects the strength and capability of the brand as a global automotive manufacturer operating in more than 120 countries worldwide. On this occasion, CHERY Thailand invited Thai media representatives and winners from the Chery V23 Style Up Challenge campaign to attend the exhibition and visit Chery Automobile’s manufacturing facility in Wuhu, China. Participants also observed crash testing demonstrations of TIGGO 7, TIGGO 8, and TIGGO 9 at the Longshan Crash Center, showcasing the brand’s global safety standards and commitment to vehicle safety. The trip marked another important step for CHERY in bringing world-class innovation and future mobility technologies closer to the Thai market while reinforcing its vision of developing “mobility for the future” that addresses consumers’ needs in every dimension.
