CHERY, a global automotive leader dedicated to developing technology and innovation for superior driving experiences, continues to uphold its core corporate values in its journey toward becoming the " No. 1 Brand for Family Trusts." In a recent initiative, the company provided vital assistance to Chery dealership employees who were impacted by the severe flooding in Southern Thailand.

Mr. Jim Li, Country Director of Chery Thailand, stated that one of Chery’s primary values is "Family," which reflects deep care and mutual support. Following the floods in the Hat Yai district, which left many staff members—regarded as part of the Chery family—facing significant hardships, the company stepped in to help. Chery has provided 120,000 THB in financial aid to alleviate immediate distress, with the hope that this support will help employees and their families recover and return to their normal lives as quickly as possible.

Executive Relief Mission In addition to financial aid, executives from the Chery Group, led by Mr. Cedric Cui, President of OMODA & JAECOO (Thailand) Co., Ltd., alongside Mr. Jim Li and Mr. Bill Zhang, Country Director of OMODA & JAECOO Thailand, personally visited the affected areas.

The leadership team delivered essential electrical appliances, including fans and rice cookers, totaling 300,000 THB in value. These items were distributed to support the rehabilitation of homes for flood victims in the South, specifically targeting those in the Hat Yai district of Songkhla province who were heavily impacted by the recent inundation.

Through these actions, Chery reaffirms its commitment to standing by its people and the Thai community during times of crisis.
