CHERY Partners with Asian Youth Para Games 2025 Empowering Young Para-Athletes to Overcome Limits Across Asia

BANGKOK — CHERY, a global automotive leader dedicated to continuous technological innovation and superior driving experiences, has officially announced its partnership with the organizing committee of the 2025 Asian Youth Para Games (AYPG). The Games are held under the motto "Born to Rise," a theme that reflects the courage, resilience, and the spirit of young athletes as they transcend every limitation.

The partnership agreement was signed by Mr. Zhu Shaodong, Executive Vice President of Chery International, and Mr. Majid Rashed, President of the Asian Paralympic Committee (APC). This collaboration underscores Chery’s commitment to supporting youth para-sports across the Asian region. Under this agreement, Chery provides logistical and transportation support for the athletes and hosted an official send-off ceremony at the airport. During the ceremony, Mr. Zhu Shaodong delivered an inspiring speech, drawing parallels between the athletes' journey and Chery's growth "From our humble beginnings in Wuhu in 1997 to ranking 233rd on the 2025 Fortune Global 500, Chery’s journey has been one of soaring toward success. I want to offer my full support to every young athlete whose determination allows them to break through boundaries and soar toward their own goals." 

A Strong Foundation of Social Responsibility

Chery has played a consistent role in supporting para-sport organizations in Asia through various initiatives, including supporting the Kazakhstan Youth Para Games and working closely with the Asian Paralympic Committee. These efforts served as the cornerstone for this official partnership for AYPG 2025.

 Beyond sports, Chery integrates business operations with social responsibility by collaborating with international organizations such as the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and UNICEF. The company has also established a dedicated task force to coordinate global resources in preparation for the AYPG 2025 Games.
